Zoë Wong-VanHaren is a student at Palo Alto High School. She works with Project Green Home and Menlo Spark to help raise awareness about the climate crisis in her local community, and advocates for cities to further develop their building codes to make buildings more sustainable and environmentally-friendly. At school she is the Photography and Design Editor for the student-run publication Verde Magazine and wrestles for the high school's co-ed team. While not in school, she volunteers for the non-profit organization the One Love Foundation, helping to raise awareness about abusive relationships as an Executive Teen Ambassador in the Bay Area.
