Thank you for your support this year
This has been a challenging year for so many of us, and we have been so grateful for your support and engagement as a member of the movement for a gasoline-free America. Even in the face of all of the uncertainty and disruption of the last ten months, thanks to your support we have accomplished much to be proud of. Over the last year, Coltura:
- Organized a diverse coalition of more than 40 organizations to pass legislation enabling Washington State to join the ZEV Program and requiring automakers to sell an increasing number of zero-emissions vehicles).
- Formed and led a coalition of environmental and EV groups to introduce and achieve a committee hearing for Clean Cars 2030, a bill requiring all new vehicles registered in Washington State be electric vehicles starting with model-year 2030.
- Joined forces with Joint Venture Silicon Valley to launch the Beyond Gasoline Initiative to reduce gasoline consumption in Silicon Valley 50% by 2030.
- Published a law review article, “Federal Preemption and State Vehicle Electrification Mandates,” in the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law.
