Gasoline Superusers to be Featured at National Academies Workshop on 10/28
______
Understanding gasoline consumption patterns is key to making EV policies that maximize CO2 emissions reduction. Coltura was invited to participate in a workshop on electric vehicles being held this week by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine to present its findings on gasoline superusers, the heaviest users of gasoline.
Released in July, Coltura’s Gasoline Superusers report revealed that the top 10% of gasoline users in the U.S. use more gasoline than the bottom 60% of drivers combined. The report also showed how EV incentives and other policy options for transitioning superusers to EVs could achieve significant cuts in gasoline consumption by 2030.
