January 20, 2021 – During his campaign, President Joe Biden pledged to accelerate our country’s transition away from fossil fuels through investments in clean energy, transportation electrification and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Coltura is thrilled to welcome a president who grasps the urgency of our climate, understands that gasoline is the biggest source of carbon emissions, and is prepared to take bold, decisive action to cut US fossil fuel use.
Our country’s peers and allies – countries including the UK, Norway, Netherlands, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and Israel – have announced plans to phase out the sale of new gas cars over the next 10 years.
